Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer. Picnics. Parades. Fireworks. Food. Fun. And don’t forget the cold drinks. Why not make some Bourbon Peach Tea?
Let’s kick off the weekend with the first in the Summertime Sipper Series. Not a pressure cooker recipe for sure. But surely something that will help you depressurize your life.
Bourbon Peach Tea. The name says it all. Three ingredients: iced tea, peach nectar, and bourbon. You can buy ready-made iced tea and peach nectar. Or you can make your own iced tea. In the pressure cooker! Yes, really. You can also make your own peach nectar. This isn’t a pressure cooker recipe but it’s so darn quick and easy that firing up the pot isn’t necessary. As for the bourbon, I’m not trying to run afoul of the law by giving you a recipe for that. Jack and Jim have gotten pretty good at making it. Buy your bourbon like normal folk do.
I love to serve drinks in canning jars. I can’t think of a cold drink that I wouldn’t put in a Mason jar. Plus, you can throw a lid on that bad boy for instant portability. If you don’t have any [affiliate link] Mason jars around the house, don’t you think it’s time you got some? You will use them for everything.
Bourbon Peach Tea. Mix it by the jar. Mix it by the gallon. Summertime and the livin’ is easy. Sit back. Relax. And start sippin’.
